1 out of 5 stars

A bit on the expensive side for what it is. looks like it was probably hand welded. It has a black coating of some sort. It looks very similar to the original. One star because of the following flaws... First, the parameter holes are not accurate. This unit has holes in a symmetrical pattern around the outer ring. The factory original has one hole in the upper left that is not symmetrical. Perhaps this is designed so it can only be installed one way. At any rate, because of this, I will have to drill another hole in this to add the final holding screw. Secondly, the angle of the primary output is not as sharp as the original, and places strain on the filling hose - it pinches the hose against a bare metal edge in the fenderwell, and the pull from the hose is translated to the outer plastic bezel (see part number 5463803). No way to rectify this. Thirdly, the part where the gas cap attaches has notches to align the gas cap in a particular orientation when fully sealed. These notches are not in the factory position, so when the gas cap is fully sealed the handle lands vertical - straight up and down. Fourth - the part where the gas cap attaches sticks away from the plastic bezel a little, the factory is about 1/4 inch, whereas this one is like 1/16 of inch, almost the thickness of the plastic bezel making the gas cap be in direct contact with the plastic bezel at all times. Fifth, not really a problem, but the inner flap thingy is a little different from factory.
