This is a awesome kit

This kit was easy to install. No more changing the stock carburetors every year. Thanks for the jeep forums to help. Can't wait to get off roading again. again!!!

Great Conversion Kit

This kit took me and a buddy about 5 hours to install. I replaced the stock setup with the Howell in my 1984 CJ7, 4.2L. The instructions are not that clear around the wiring, but there are quite a few intruction threads on Jeep forums that will help fill in the blanks. After hooking up everything, the jeep fired up after about 15 seconds of cranking. Checked the timing and RPM...both were to adjustments necessary. Runs more hesitations or sputtering. IMO this is a must for those having problems with the stock Carter BBD and it's California legal!
