Fits the cutout great, not sure how useful it will be other then filling the hole, it's not deep enough to hold a phone, a few pens and pencils probably.

Do not buy for a YJ

The price on this was a little high but since I put my stereo in my console I wanted to cover the hole and this was a great idea except it doesn't fit a YJ. I have to cut the plastic on the Dash Housing that I also just purchased to get this to fit and then it will be metal tabs held on by the plastic Housing and not on the metal of the dash which I tried to take the Plastic housing off and mount it to the metal and it was too small for that. Oh well, it is made well and Morris was awesome with there shipping.

Mixed... Great Idea But Not Far Enough

In a nutshell when I moved my stereo up into a Tuffy Security Console I figured what better way to fill the gap in my dash than with a Tuffy Stereo Cubby. It's installed, holds a few pens... but it just too small considering what Tuffy could have made. Bottom line, try making your own before you buy one of these. Great quality, don't get me wrong... but just too small to do much good.
