Description
The AEM Cold Air Intake System increases your Jeep's horsepower and torque by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. It was designed specifically for the above listed Jeep models and provides an estimated gain of 5 horsepower and 6 ft-lbs of torque. The air filter is located in the original air box location and is protected by a heat shield that reduces intake air temperature. The air intake tube is constructed of mandrel-bent aluminum and is finished by a durable gunmetal gray powdercoat. This system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the air temperature sensor, ECU, and engine vent tube. The AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter than can last up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required. It is backed by AEM's lifetime limited warranty.
