Craig from Kentrol brought along some new products that are for the JK Wrangler Jeeps, and we’re glad they’re spreading the love around for the newer Jeep models. We can’t wait to get some of these products on our own Jeeps!
When it comes to stainless still accessories, few companies can compare to Kentrol. They’ve been cranking out new stuff for Jeeps for decades. While many of their products can really liven up the look of your Jeep, especially for the older CJs, YJs, and TJs, they make a lot of practical parts as well that go beyond just looks.
Recently Craig from Kentrol brought along some new products that are for the JK Wrangler Jeeps, and we’re glad they’re spreading the love around for the newer Jeep models. We can’t wait to get some of these products on our own Jeeps!
First up is the new Kentrol license plate relocation bracket assembly. They’ve not only designed it to relocate your license plate, but have integrated a LED light to light up the plate (and keep you legal), and they've added an LED third brake light too. What does that mean for Jeep owners? A lot less hassle, and fewer individual parts to buy when relocating your plate.
Kentrol has developed a sweet hood latch too. Yeah, we know, you’ve seen a hundred hood latches for Jeeps before. But this new one is adjustable and made from stainless steel. By adjusting it, you can make sure your hood stays as snug as you want it to be, year after year. You know that each side of a Jeep hood is not the same, so being able to adjust the hold-down latches allows you to fine-tune how they fit each side.
To keep up with current trends for Jeeps, Kentrol has added new taillight cover guards to their parts line. These have a cutout silhouette of the classic Jeep shape, and of course, it’s stainless steel, with a black powder coated texture finish.
Now, just because they’ve got some new products doesn’t mean the old ones are going away. In fact, some of them have been best sellers for Jeep fans over the years. All are made with the Kentrol stainless steel craftsmanship and quality you’ve come to expect.
For instance, their JK Wrangler door hinges are made slightly larger than a stock hinge to cover up any paint damage done by the stock hinge, from bubbling or scratches (Jeep adds the hinges to the door prior to painting the body, so if you take them off, the paint seam can be ugly).
With Kentrol, these are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the multiple accessories they make for almost any Jeep out there. You can’t go wrong with stainless steel, and your Jeep will appreciate that.
