The updated UConnect Infotainment system rolling out in 2017 will include more smartphone integration. The new system will first be available for the 2017 model Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Dodge Challenger. Fiat Chrysler plans and unleashing the new system to select Jeeps and other makes/models. The Uconnect Infotainment system updates include a big 8.4 inch touchscreen, and support for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The new updates will allow drivers to interact with their mobile phones using voice commands. Without touching your phone you can access maps, messages, and music.  For the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee there is an app called Off-Road Pages, which gives the user information on the vehicle, including suspension and drivetrain data. The increased screen size alone is something to look forward to, but now we get so many more options with mobile phone connectivity and the existing features.
