- This kit will not work with a 4.0L unless a Sensor kit or a harmonic balancer kit is installed.
- These kits do require you to modify your GM bellhousing for the sensor to fit through the bellhousing.
- This adapter assembly is intended only for the Jeep 4.0 litre replacing a 3 speed auto or 5 speed.
- 5 speed replacement must use a stock OEM 3 speed auto flexplate!
- Kit cannot be used with 4 speed auto flexplate, 42RLE or AW4 flexplates and inspection covers.
- The torque converter adapter only fits GM torque converters with 10.75" bolt pattern, does not fit TH400 11.50" or 4L80E.
- This adapter kit is not compatible with the Buick, Oldsmobile or Pontiac TH400 transmission cases
- Kit does not include flexplate
