Superlift's extended length brake hoses, both rubber and Bulletproof versions, are DOT approved and made in the US. Our rubber hoses are longer duplicates of the factory hose. We start with a Teflon inner bladder that is surrounded with a Kevlar inner braid (the same stuff used in bulletproof vests). The Kevlar layer is then wrapped in a rubber sheathing followed by stainless steel braid. Finally, the whole thing is wrapped in a plastic sheathing. This combination virtually eliminates hose expansion for better pedal "feel," improved braking performance and superior resistance to chafing.
