Superlift's extended length brake hoses, both rubber and Bulletproof versions, are DOT approved and made in the US. Our rubber hoses are longer duplicates of the factory hose. Superlift's Bulletproof hoses are simply the best brake hoses you can buy. We start with a Teflon inner bladder that is surrounded with a Kevlar inner braid (the same stuff used in bulletproof vests). The Kevlar layer is then wrapped in a rubber sheathing followed by stainless steel braid. Finally, the whole thing is wrapped in a plastic sheathing. This combination virtually eliminates hose expansion for better pedal "feel," improved braking performance and superior resistance to chafing.
