Door Latch Doors

Jeep owners are known for their love of adventure. After all, if you have a powerful, modded Jeep with great airflow, you should take advantage of it! Sometimes, all that fun in the sun, mud and moisture can take a toll on door latches. Don’t let it get you down. At Morris 4x4, we stock OEM and aftermarket replacement parts to get your doors working perfectly again.

What Are Door Latches?

The type of parts you need depend on your Jeep model and year. Usually, the door latch includes the door handle and a securing mechanism to keep the door closely firmly and safely. Many, but not all, latch styles also have a locking feature for additional security. You can find latches with locks for half doors, full doors and even some tube doors.

We carry a variety of latch parts. Full assemblies generally include everything you need to repair door handles. You can also find individual replacement parts, such as door strikers, interior handles and exterior handles. We also have parts for power locks.

How Long Do Door Latches Last?

It’s hard to predict how long door handles and latches last, even from top manufacturers and dealers such as Crown Automotive and Mopar. With proper care, latches can last ages. That said, it’s important to take good care of your ride.

If you use your Jeep during winter, ice and snow can affect the latch mechanism over time. Even though high-quality latches are built to last, impacts can cause problems. If your stock door hardware is damaged, you can find the replacements you need right here.

How Much Do Door Latches Cost?

Many Jeep door latch parts are relatively inexpensive. You can often find latch assemblies for around $100–125. Door handles run you about $25. Systems for power locks cost more, but they’re not over the top. We keep many replacement door parts in stock, so it doesn’t take long to get your ride performing the way you want.

A common aftermarket upgrade is installing lock cylinders. If your current door setup doesn’t have locks, you may want to upgrade to keep your gear safe when you’re on the trail. We have everything you need for your Jeep.
