For 50 years, the Jeep Safari has been an off-road journey and testament to the Jeep life. Some consider it a right of passage, while others deem it a tradition. Whatever the case, every year, Jeepers journey to Moab, UT- a Mecca of sorts, with treacherous, modest, and mild trails alike. This is a place where friends and Jeep enthusiasts swap stories, trade notes, and ride to their heart's content. It started in 1962 by the Moab Chamber of Commerce. It began as a small club with Saturday trail riding only. After some years, it grew in popularity and was later managed by Red Rock 4-Wheelers, a local 4x4 club. It has since grown to its humongous size and following.
