You can never get enough spy shots and drama for the new 2017-2018 Jeep Wranglers. Here at Morris 4x4 center, we're keeping a close eye out on what's happening, so we can bring you the latest news and photos. Be sure to stay tuned! Recently we found some photos from Car & Driver. The images clearly show a 4-door Wrangler Unlimited with a hardtop. For the most part, it still looks like the Wrangler shaped body we've come to know and love, the JK series Jeeps. The pictures aren't clear, or close enough, to determine if the front windshield still folds down. An option Jeep has wanted to drop for some time. The visual parts that jump out are the unusual shaped front and rear bumpers. The wheels are slightly different, but wheels are one of the first things car companies mess with, as they often offer several options on patterns and designs, on any new vehicle. Nothing to really get excited about there. The side steps also are a bit different, if not bland. But side steps, like bumpers, are often changed out by new owners just hours after taking a Jeep home. After all, who wants to drive around stock? The best image is the undercarriage. It looks like we still get a Dana rear. Though the geometry may have changed (rear trailing arms), it's still a floating solid axle, with rear coil springs. I'm not sure why the rear shocks are red (maybe DeCarbons? Like GM used at one time?). Sadly, there are no images of the front suspension, or under the hood.
