At long last, the new JL Wrangler is starting to shed its camo “skin”, revealing the fresh changes we’ve all been anxious to finally see. As shown by the JL Wrangler Forum, from the very visible windshield hinges to the subtle change to the grill, so far everything looks great. Finally visible are the all new tail lights, windshield hinges, bumpers, and door handles. The higher hard top angle is interesting, as well as the black grill on both colors shown. There are questions as to whether the red Jeep shown is a Rubicon, while the silver may be a Sahara, based on the body-colored fender flares. Interesting to note also are the redesigned flares, the integrated DRL and side markers, and the lights on the mirrors. While most of these features have been talked about and speculated on, it is great to see FCA expose some of the design changes for their new flagship model. Hopefully, we’ll soon get a better look at the interior, and maybe a peek under the hood.
