FOX Racing 2.5 Factory Series Reservoir Shocks are the best of both worlds. Made to fit the most popular lift kits, they can often be simply bolted in place but still give the performance of a reservoir shock design

There’s no doubt that when it comes to shock absorbers, there are a lot of choices. And when you include the shocks made for lifted vehicles, trucks and Jeeps, and for off-roading, the list just keeps getting longer.

The focus today is on the Fox Reservoir Shocks if you're running a 4 to 6-inch lift. With your lift installed, these shocks are a bolt on for your TJ Wrangler or JK Wrangler Jeep.

Having a monotube shock design with a large oil reservoir, these shocks can run cooler, but also offer more dampening and control than traditional shock designs.

Let’s also take look at some other great  Fox Performance Shock Series that have external reservoirs.

FOX 2.5 Factory Series Reservoir Shocks

The FOX Racing 2.5 Factory Series Reservoir Shocks are the best of both worlds. Made to fit the most popular lift kits, they can often be simply bolted in place but still give the performance of a reservoir shock design. Designed for specific vehicles, they give you the confidence of using a shock that’s been assigned for your vehicle and use a specific valving for the application. Fox shocks use a Race-developed high-flow piston design, redundant sealing pack system main seal, wiper seal, scraper seal, and JM92 Advanced Suspension Fluid for improved performance at variable temperatures.

FOX 2.0 Performance Series with Reservoir CD Adjuster

The Fox Racing 2.0 Performance Series shocks with the Reservoir CD Adjuster gives you the freedom to set up your suspension to your off-road needs. The shock's heat reducing design includes a metal impacted clear anodized aluminum shock body, which dissipates heat faster than a conventional steel body shock. The external reservoir allows for increased oil and nitrogen capacity and the CD Adjuster delivers 8 clicks of compression adjustability, from a very soft valving to a very firm one. These Fox shocks also feature M92 Advanced Suspension Fluid for improved performance at variable temperatures. The mountings also have quiet nitrile bushings (which run quieter than standard urethane bushings), that allow for increased suspension articulation.

Because Fox only makes the finest shocks, there are many features that are incorporated into all their shock designs for overall durability and performance, no matter what series they may be.

Highlights of the Fox shocks are:

A 2.0” or 2.5” Smooth bore and honed seamless alloy body

A Zinc-plated and double-clear coated body for long a lasting finish

2.5" Smooth bore and honed seamless alloy reservoir (where applicable)

    Black-anodized, CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum

Redundant sealing pack system main seal, wiper seal, scraper sea

    Race-developed high-flow piston design

With all the choices for Fox Racing shock designs, there’s one for all your on-road and off-road needs. While some may think they're overkill for the average Jeep driver, you know that won't always be true. The more you drive your Jeep, the more you take it off-road, the more you will want to hang with those drivers who really can go anywhere.

Chances are they're running Fox Racing shocks. So if you don't get them now, you'll probably wish you had later. Why not purchase shocks just once, and save a lot of money later? Do it right the first time with Fox Shocks.
