Most plugs that you will purchase have a porcelain cover that protects threaded copper shells. This is the part that connects to the actual ignition system via the spark plug wires. In the Grand Cherokee ZJ there are three different types of spark plugs that can be utilized. Check your ZJ owner’s manual to see which is recommended for your model year. Routinely making sure that the spark plugs are operable and intact is simple to do and can keep your engine running at peak efficiency.
