The last few weeks have proven to be hard on a lot of families in the US and nearby islands due to the catastrophic devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. As a South Florida-based business catering to Jeep enthusiasts internationally, and having been hit by Irma, we feel the plight of all those affected by two of the strongest hurricanes recorded in recent history.
In the spirit of helping our neighbors, we set up a Hurricane Relief page to make it as easy as possible for anyone interested to assist victims of Hurricane Harvey. Here in the office, we collected monetary donations and gathered non-perishable food, water, and other materials that are typically in short supply after a big storm hits.
Many of our own employees have gone without power, incurred damage to our homes and property, and need support as we begin the process of rebuilding. But having been hit by Irma isn’t going to stop us from helping others. As a matter of fact, we are continuing to gather donations and serve our community as best we can.
After it was safe to come out, our very own George Perz took to the streets in his Jeep, which he calls Tank, to help clean the streets of fallen trees and debris left in Irma’s wake. We have since opened to the public and are dedicated to serving our customers and those in need with our time, donations, and of course, our Jeeps.
