Jeep Models Available in India
The Wrangler Unlimited model comes with a 2.8 liter 4 Cylinder diesel engine and 5 speed automatic transmission. It comes with 17 inch wheels and all the bells and whistles we enjoy here in the States, including and infotainment system, Alpine Audio, and a.c. There is also the standard "petrol" (gasoline) model, which we are assuming comes with a 3.6L Pentastar engine. All of the vehicles are RHD. There are 3 Grand Cherokees being offered in India at the moment, and they're all a little different... First, there's the "Limited" model with a 3.0L V6 diesel and 8 speed automatic. It comes with an 8.4 inch infotainment UConnect and a panoramic sunroof. Next is the Grand Cherokee Summit with the same engine, but more features. Check out the Summit post to see some of its unique identifiers. The last Grand Cherokee offering, though, is an SRT. That's right! This one comes with a 6.4L V8 gas engine and 8 speed automatic transmission. It's clearly the most powerful Jeep offered in India today with 475 horsepower.
