There’s no doubt that Jeeps are everywhere, and an icon to people worldwide. So when the developers for Forza Horizon 3 packed up some all new vehicles for the next edition of the driving game, they introduced a new ride - the Jeep CJ5 Renegade. Now, Forza Horizon usually has fast sports cars. Everything from Ferraris, a Lotus 340R, BMW M2, Pagan Huayra, Aston Martins, and others. These are cars that pack a punch on the street and in the game. Indeed, players can choose from over 350 different cars and vehicles to pilot. After all, it's a high-speed sim game, and the environment is worldwide.

Jeep CJ5 Renegade is the New Forza Horizon Star

This time around, they’ve included a couple of special cars, one being a U.S. Ford Police version of the Crown Vic, but also the mighty American Jeep CJ5.  The Jeep is a welcome start up as some of the roads can get a bit bumpy, Some of the designers of Forza Horizon, Playground Games (and Studio 10), hail from Australia, so with some of those terrains in mind, the Jeep makes perfect sense. So it would appear not only can you hit the streets racing in your supercar, you can get off-road a bit and put your Jeep Renegade driving skills to the test.

The Jeep is available as a “Smoking Tire Pack,” and has become free as part of the Forza Ultimate Edition, or known as the “Car Pass” program. Forza Horizons 3 is available for the Microsoft Xbox and Microsoft Windows. So if you ever wanted to hit the trails, without even leaving your couch, the Forza Horizons 3 pack might just be the way to go. You won't be catching any rays or fresh mountain air, but if it's a rainy day and the weekend's washed out, it might be time to unpack the virtual Jeep CJ5. Hmm, I wonder if they have virtual accessories to beef up this CJ a bit?
