The Jeep gods have smiled on us, and the planets have lined up just right. Check your horoscope, because Jeep has announced there will be a Jeep Wrangler Pickup by at least 2019, or earlier. No, honest, it's true. Would we steer you wrong with some old rumor?

Jeep Announced Wrangler Pickup

The man himself, Mike Manley, from the FCA, has reported and said himself that a pickup based on the Jeep Wrangler will be in production between now and 2019. Yeah, it's a few years out, but that's plenty of time for you to imagine the best in your favorite color and dream about what options it might have. Another good thing is that the Jeep Pickup will be built in Toledo, so you know it's gonna be home grown and built in the USA. Pickup trucks have never gone out of style, and continue to sell year after year in big numbers. I mean, just about every car company has some kind of pickup, big or small.  I mean, come on, even the Russians have a GAZ pickup. The Jeep is way over due. I wonder what kind of special editions there will be? Maybe a J-version, or a Willys version.  Maybe a Comanche version will have some 70's stripes. Possibly a Kaiser M715 military edition? All we know is that you can bet there will be a ton of accessories for them when they go into production. We expect, like the Jeep JK Wranglers, there will be a big demand for them, worldwide. So start saving now. You know you want one. But we think the line will be quite long...
