Offroad Jeep Rally Lahore
Jeep's reach is growing stronger. That's no surprise either, considering the mass appeal of 4x4 trailing across the planet's rugged terrain. That, coupled with FCA's aggressive push to meet global demand, results in Jeep events in places that have never had them before. Prime example: the province of Lahore in Pakistan is holding its first ever off-road Jeep rally, complete with cash prizes ranging from roughly $600-$1,500 US. The Rally is taking place March 27, 2016. It looks like people everywhere can't get enough of the off-road experience. The event will be held along the Ravi River Bed, where more than 50 Jeep lovers will take on a 17km (10.5 miles) track to compete for glory. Jeep racing is becoming a popular professional sport there, and the organizers are hoping to promote the culture and pave the way for Formula 1 racing as well. Reports say that the race is modeled after the popular Cholistan Jeep Rally held every year. For more information, check out the original post at the tribune.com.pk.
