Rugged Ridge Elite Line | Morris 4x4 Center

Morris 4x4 Center is introducing the Rugged Ridge Elite line of Jeep accessories. When it comes to accessories, it’s hard to beat the scope and range of just how many products are made by Rugged Ridge. They make gear for every corner of your Jeep.

Eric talked to Sean from Rugged Ridge to catch up on some new and improved items that are irresistible to Jeep owners. The best way to illustrate that is to take a tour around Sean’s Jeep equipped with a lot accessories that will fit right in with your Jeep Life.

This Jeep features several items from the new Rugged Ridge Elite Series of parts. These are special items that go a little further on the design end of things. They offer a great fit and are made from cast aluminum. The parts are available in different finishes, including a raw one, that allows you to paint or powder coat them to match your style and Jeep.

Starting off with the front, the Elite Headlight Guards offer a new way of protection, in that they give you a choice on how you want them to look. They can be mounted in various positions, meaning, vertically, horizontally, or at a 45-degree angle as shown. It’s a simple option, but effective in allowing you to personalize your Jeep.

The new Nautic Winch by Rugged Ridge is IP68 (military) rated for brief underwater use, and it’s waterproof. The one shown is attached to a new Rugged Ridge XHD front Bumper, that also features their new Stinger Guard. It adds more protection, and installs with some quick drilling and screws. The new XHD Bumper also has a Rugged Ridge branding on it.

While the hood latches aren’t quite new, they are now offered in a black textured finish to better match your Jeep if that’s your preferred finish.

One hot item is the Rugged Ridge Fast Track Light Bar System. This goes far beyond any light bar system you’ve ever seen. It allows you to mount a light bar on top, of any brand, but it also features windshield pillar tracks where you can mount even more lights and accessories. Things like antennas, mirrors, GoPros, etc.

The windshield pillar track also hides any wires, to the point where it basically needs only one harness that runs down through it and into the cowl area via the factory openings. This gives you a simple yet clean look that’s difficult to achieve with any other kind light bar brackets and mounts.

Check out the Dual Functionality Lights that Rugged Ridge makes that you can mount on your Jeep, including to the Fast Track Light Bar. They incorporate amber LED lights that can be used on road and off as “parking/running” lights, or turn signals.

Rugged Ridge has upgraded their new Side Armor Guards and Steps. They use a step-plate that can be mounted anywhere along the steps top area. This allows you to tailor it to exactly where you like to place your foot when getting in and out of your Jeep.

Their new Rocker Armor parts are made from an impact resistant plastic so it’s durable, and gives you a smooth look to your Jeep. It also covers up what some call the unsightly pinch seam at the bottom.

Another hot ticket item is the Rugged Ridge Elite Cast Aluminum Door Inserts. They make them with a couple of different relief patterns on them, and some have color accents. Of course, they can be painted, powder coated or finished however you think they will look best on your Jeep.

Evidently, it doesn’t take much to keep Eric entertained as he can’t leave the new Rugged Ridge Elite Series Gas Door alone. But you won’t be able to either, as it clearly beats out any competitors for simplicity and ease of use. Showing that a Jeep part can be practical and functional at the same time.

Going all the way, Rugged Ridge has come up with their Elite Series Taillight Guard. It encloses the entire light and works with the stock taillights and most aftermarket lights as well. Rugged Ridge tested them with a baseball bat just to “keep it real” and well, they worked perfectly and protected the lights. So, they should hold up to trailing with your Jeep for sure. Rugged Ridge also makes LED Taillights, so you can replace those too while you’re getting your new guards.

The Rugged Ridge Heavy Duty Tire Carrier Mount must be seen to be believed, as you will witness in the video. It allows you to carry a 37-inch tire. It mounts to your Jeep by attaching with new tailgate hinges, so it has solid support. Rather than just add on a tire carrier, one that you have to swing out of the way just to get to the tailgate, Rugged Ridge allows you to swing it with the tail gate all in one.

This hinge kit, added with their heavy-duty tire mount makes a combo that can’t be beat. Rugged Ridge also makes a mount that attaches to it for your Hi-Lift Jack.

The bonus part to make all this even better is their third brake light. Rather than mount it high at roof level like most companies do, Rugged Ridge has designed an LED brake light that mounts behind your spare tire. Meaning, it can be seen through the tire rim.

It’s circular LED design makes it highly visible, and allows it to be placed much more at eye level to drivers behind your Jeep. It does include wiring and connects to the factory JK Wrangler harness. However, by cutting off the harness, you can adapt it for use on nearly any kind of vehicle or Jeep. The light itself is meant to be mounted on a spare tire carrier, behind the spare.

Clearly, Rugged Ridge has been very busy creating these new items for your Jeep. Seeing them in action, how can you pass on getting them?
