With Bestop’s engineering and plenty of testing, you know it won’t be a problem to get a Trektop NX Glide on your own Jeep.

It’s here! The new video with Eric and Hendrick giving you a quick installation of the new Bestop Trektop NX Glide. With Bestop’s engineering and plenty of testing, you know it won’t be a problem to get a Trektop NX Glide on your own Jeep.

You will notice the guys only use hand tools, and a few power ones (just to speed up the process), so you don’t need anything special to install the Trektop NX Glide. No cutting or welding, nothing major like that. I mean, they installed it in a parking lot. You can’t get much easier than that, right?

The door frames and parts are assembled before attaching them to the Jeep, and the bows slip right onto the top. Essentially, you’re attaching all the framework at the beginning of the job. There are some odds and end pieces to install, using screws primarily. And this is setting the stage for adding the soft top itself.

Next up is the header panel. Eric and Hendrick start this process on the ground to make it easier to assemble. As you can see, the Florida sunshine gives you plenty of light to see what you’re doing!

Once that’s done, they place it on the front portion of the Jeep and install it. This portion can be folded back later, or used as a bikini top with the side and rear windows removed.

Then it’s time to add the rear bracing for the tail end of the soft top. The different flaps and folded material you see them working around the Jeep is to help prevent any water or air seepage while driving. This is just another way to show off the Bestop way of making soft tops - first class!

With the rear section hooked up, they can now slide in the side windows. Guess what? No zippers. Just slide them onto the channels, and they can be removed anytime. No tools needed.

The rear window also slides on the bottom into a channel to cross the tailgate area. So, like the side windows, it can be easily removed at any time.

The Trektop NX Glide installed here in the video is the Black Twill material, and it looks good with this black JK Wrangler. But Bestop Trektop NX Glide gives you the fastback look, and with its nearly seamless fit and finish, looks pretty darn good once installed on any color Jeep.

But don’t forget, it’s still very functional. You can keep it buttoned up against the weather, or remove the rear and side windows, and use it as a bikini. Or if you’re in the mood for some sun, flip back the front portion for next to nothing between you and the great outdoors.

Eric and Hendrick make it look easy, but then, it’s a straight forward installation. Which is just another great feature of the Bestop Trektop NX Glide.
