Rugged Ridge Low-Mount XHD Snorkel for 3.6L Engine

The new Modular XHD Snorkel System from Rugged Ridge relocates the vulnerable stock air intake location to help reduce dust clogged filters and the risk of hydro-locking your engine. It is the first and currently only snorkel designed with the modular functionality of a pre-filter Low Mount and Ram High Mount air intake design.

The engineers at Rugged Ridge worked with many customers to create this unique snorkel. This snorkel allows you to fold down your windshield, works with our dual battery tray, windshield light mounting tabs and light bar. The Modular XHD Snorkel System comes standard with a Low Mount pre-filter and the Ram High Mount extension. The Low Mount pre-filter relocates the intake below the windshield, drawing cool air from outside the hot engine bay. The Ram High Mount extension moves the intake up an additional 21" to the top of the windshield. The built-in manual drain valves channel away excess water to prevent it from entering the intake system.

This snorkel installs with minor modifications to the fender, but without the major cutting and surgery that other kits require. The new lower air cleaner box installs in place of the factory unit, so you don't have to "hack and tap".
