2018 Toledo Jeep Fest
A fundraising initiative is currently in the process for the 2018 Toledo Jeep Fest. The 2016 breakout event for the home of the Jeep was a major success, with 40,000 attendees and 1,100 Jeeps taking part in the brand’s 75th year, keeping the tradition of off-roading and the spirit of freedom alive and well. Next year’s event organizers are quite ambitious, with a $300,000 fundraising goal to match their desired headcount of 60,000 attendees and 2,000 Jeeps to take part in the parade. Fortunately, the team is already half way to meeting the lofty goal.
2016’s Jeep event was heavily focused on the rich history of the beloved 4x4 brand, touting the museum and all of the historical Jeeps within. Next year, the Toledo Jeep Fest theme will be on the future, with the release of the redesigned Wrangler at the helm. The long-awaited Jeep JT truck also coming to Toledo with manufacturing space being allotted in the assembly complex.
Toledo may have taken a long time to establish a Jeep event of this magnitude, but organizers are not going to stop now that they’ve got the ball rolling. Featuring the Jeep parade, food and live entertainment fit for the whole family, the 2018 Toledo Jeep fest is bound to attract hardcore Jeepers and locals in record numbers for years to come.
