Description
Skid Row Offroad's Engine and Transmission Skid Plate accommodates stock height and works great on lifted Jeeps as well. Installation requires drilling only 2 holes through the transmission crossmember. It's mounting height is also adjustable to accommodate changes in your exhaust system. This skid plate mounts to the transmission crossmember at the rear. On the right side it mounts using the bolt for the lower control arm. On the left side there is a two piece mounting hoop that goes over the drive shaft and attaches to the lower control arm bolt. All of this makes for a very sturdy skid plate that gives you plenty of clearance for your driveshaft and exhaust.
